So my mission call came on a Wednesday just like most of them do, but I had waited and waited for it to come and the week it happened to come my little brother and Dad were on a backpacking trip. So I decided to wait the three days until they came home to open it. I am so glad I waited for them to open it, even though it felt terribly long. I saw more miracles in three days than I thought possible. Sometimes it is so obvious that you can not miss God's hand in your life.
When Saturday finally arrived we got ready for the party all day. All my loved ones, and dearest friends were coming. It really touched my heart that so many people came, and I saw even more how blessed I truly am.
Right before I opened my call with about fifty people waiting in my living room I snuck back to my parents bedroom and said a little prayer. I felt so much peace and knew that I was getting called to the exact place that the Lord needed me, and I was willing to go wherever that may be.
Dear Sister Miggin:
